LAPL ALight Aircraft Pilot Licence
The LAPL(A) allows you to fly single-engine piston aeroplanes up to 2,000 kg with a maximum of 3 passengers on board, under VFR conditions. It requires fewer flight hours than the PPL and is an excellent starting point for recreational flyers, with the option to later convert to a PPL.
Duration: 4-6 months
30+ flight hours
Requirements
- Minimum age 16 (17 on the examination date)
- LAPL or EASA Class 2 medical certificate
- No previous experience required
