IRI(A)Instrument Rating Instructor
The IRI trains instructors for the instrument rating (IR).

Requirements
- Valid IR(A) rating
- At least 800 flight hours under IFR, of which at least 400 on aeroplanes
The Course
- At least 25 hours of "teaching and learning"
- 10 hours of technical instruction on instrument flight
- 10 hours of practical course (reduced to 5 for those already holding an FI(A))
Privileges
- Instruction for obtaining the IR
